Default Installing lower control arm

Guys...I recently bent my lower control arm, the dealer wanted to charge $1400 parts and labor, they say i need new lower control arm, control arm bushings, and the camber adjustment. I wonder has anyone install it by themselves before? is it really gonna take that long, and also do i need any special tool for it?
thanks in advice

Ryan, since you are NorCal just go to Exact.

Jawnthen just changed his lower control arms at Exact Motorsports. Give them a call for a quote on what they will charge. Of course tell them I sent ya.

I just paid them to instal the Cusco upper control arms and Tein's on the wifeys IS. You know I do all the mods myself, but Exact charge is reasonable it wasn't worth my time, especially with all the more important mods I have going on right now. You know what I'm talking about.

It's gonna cost wayyyyyy less than the dealer.

Here's the upper A arms in the wifeys IS.

the control arm itself is like 500 bucks i think? i don't think it's THAT hard to change the control arm, not 900 bucks. stop going to dealership to do these stuff man, that's stupid

so in fact you bent your arm....

all i needed is lower control arm, the bushing and the camber bolt
parts alone cost less than $250, even my service was saying that the price was ridiculous!$1100 labor!
The reason, i dont wanna go to exact is they r way too far, but i guess i will give them a call and see how much first. Thanks!

So what dealer would you go to?

I would guess not the one that curbed your rim the last time and caused you several trips back and forth, multiple arguments with the service manager and weeks of waiting and then a letter to Lexus upper management?

It would of been worth it to go to Exact that time I bet.
