The only thing i ever noticed was that the bolts would come loose once in a while not sure if its the sways fault but they were put on tight many times and still came loose until i bought locking bolts..might be a bad crop that came out..don't start to make the holes bigger it could cause issue in their performance, just return it if you can..good luck

Ever since the day I installed my Daizen sways I've had an off an on loud clanking noise that occurs when I hit certain bumps, take low speed turns, and pull into driveways and such where the wheels hit a small lip.

What makes it worse is that now the original sways are back on - installed by Lexus and everything and it STILL makes that noise. I even brought it back in twice to get them to fix it even bringing a thread from this forum in and the mechanic's response was a very kind but dismisive "noises drive me crazy too, but we can't figure out where this is coming from - it might be your braces, too".

Well I know it's not my braces. It started the day I installed the new sway bars, and just the circumstances it makes noises under wouldn't be the braces; it doesn't do it when I hit big bumps at high speeds where the car doesn't 'sway' very much... but if I hit something or take a turn at slow speeds and the car leans, it will often times do it.

It's not so much that the noise bothers me that much, but it's getting worse. Recently I've been able to feel it through the floor when it makes the noise, and my friends have started to notice it whereas before they just told me I was being overly sensetive and they didn't hear anything. If something major brakes and costs me a ton to fix and it wouldn't have broken had my dealer fixed it right, I'm going to be PISSED.

I am glad to hear (in a sense) that it was not the Daizen sways, themselves, that were giving you the problem. Good luck.

Not to bring a thread out of the dead, but I had this problem as well. I took my car back to the dealership and they placed plumbers tape around the front and rear Daizen sway bars where they touch the bushings...this has almost completely solved the problem. I figure I will shoot some teflon grease on them as well to help the bar turn in bushing even better. Needless to say, the popping noise was caused by the sway bar having trouble turning inside the bushing.

This one sounds like it might be the ball joints. Have you ever had them replaced?
