Warped rotors...
Now I've only had my car a few months, and I get a little pulsation when I hit the brakes. I know that's a sign of warped rotors but d@mn if I didn't just have the car inspected a few months ago and it passed. Also the car passed and the tired tread is low on all 4 tires.

Due to the lug nuts being too tight, Lexus told me the rotors warped. They turned all four on the car and set the lug nut torque to 76 FT Lbs. Haven't had any brake noise since. The wheels are factory.

R1derfull, I see on your post you have a Injen intake. How do you like it? I am considering purchasing one, but not sure if there are any pitfalls, if you know what I mean. Is everything positive or are there some negatives. Thanks Oly

I'm satisfied with it.

You guys probably aren't experienceing warped rotors. More than likely experiencing uneven pad deposits. Torquing down the lugs too tight might be one but uneven pad deposits may also happen. http://www.stoptech.com/whitepapers/...otors_myth.htm
