they do. I was just referring to cheap rotors that can easily be purchased off ebay.
Reason why i said this is because my brother has a 99 Prelude with Baer BBK.. perdy much a corvette brake setup i think.. He purchased rotors off ebay n found that the internal fins were straight n now curved like the ones that he had before.
honestly its not gunna make a big deal since we arnt going to heat up the brakes THAT much so that loss of flow wont kill us lol... hopefully.

Its either doing it by shaving the caliper and the castle nut/bolt head (ghetto mod imo...and not safe).....OR....using RCAs (SAGE, EXACT, FIGS, etc...).
Using RCAs will drop you vehicle too...SAGE offers 30mm and 40mm front RCAs. EXACT offers 38mm RCAs. I think FIGS is a smaller size...so the drop is minimal. Note that using EXACT's 38mm or SAGE's 40mm front RCA requires 17"+ wheels.
I just installed 18mm SAGE front RCA...custom made set. They fit too...barely...clearing the castle nut/bolt head by about 3mm.

So thanks to member 5t341th, I was able to figure out what the problem was. I bought the LS4 calipers but I did not purchase the LS4 StopTech rotors. I was trying to mount the calipers on GS4 rotors. So I put an order in last week for some LS4 stoptech rotors and I should have them at will call today or tomorrow. I coulda got some OEM rotors for half the price but my rear rotors are also stop tech drilled and slotted and i wanted them to match. Thanks again to 5t341th.
As for rotation :
Which direction should the discs rotate?
It is a popular misconception that the slots or drillings in a disc determine the direction of rotation. In truth, for an internally vented disc, the geometry of the vanes dictates the direction of rotation. There are three vane types in use:
•Straight
•Pillar vane (comprised of many small posts)
•Curved vane
The first two vane types are non-directional, and can be used on either side of the vehicle. The curved vane disc, however, is directional. A curved vane disc must be installed with the vanes running back from the inside to outside diameters in the direction of rotation. Please see figure. Orienting the disc in the manner creates a centrifugal pump. The rotation of the disc causes air to be pumped from the center of the disc, through the vanes, and out through the outside diameter of the disc. This greatly enhances the disc's ability to dissipate heat.
Hope this helps someone doing this mod.
1. Buy the RCA's for no problems, at least the front. (I bought Exact's)
2. Buy the Sumitomo LS4 Brake Calipers (year 1998-2000) (autozone has them and they are sumitomo)
3. Buy LS4 rotors. (year 1998-200 either OEM replacement of aftermarket)
Then your mod will be seamlessly and you will have no problems.
