sorry used to work for a mechanic

i guess you could call it resurfacing

you know when you put it on the brake lathe and it "cuts" into the rotor

i never had slotted ..drilled rotors before so i dont know what you would if you had a pulsation

in the brake pedal

i dont have this problem yet but i was wondering if this problem did arise are you able to "cut" or do i have to get new rotors

Yes you can have them resurfaced, just have to have one of the newer pieces of equipment to do it (lathe?). I've had my drilled / slotted rotors resurfaced at the Lexus dealer here in town.

Typically, how many times can you resurface a rotor before it is no longer safe to use?

there are numbers on the inside of the rotor ...which tells you the min. thickness you have

use a rotor measurer (dont remember the real name of the tool)

but it measures the thickness and then you know whether you can "cut "or have to replace
