Default ? re new ball joints

This is related to the post below. I recently had the ball joints replaced at 60,000 miles (the service manager said there was "too much play in them"). Anyway, ever since the replacement, I feel that the suspension feels much more firm than it did before (not in a good way). I called Lexus, and they told me it should feel more solid, not more firm, and the problem is probably that the tires are over-inflated. I let some air out of the tires, but I'm still feeling a little more harshness to the ride that I didn't feel before. Has anyone else experienced this?

Default ball joints

I had mine done and i noticed that the steering is more direct, and the handeling improved. The ride actually improved. Sometimes improper front alignment can make the ride hash

When they replaced my ball joints, it did not affect the ride nor the response on the steering. Chances are that you will need to do an alignment since anytime a suspension piece is replaced, the alignment is going to be off afterwards.. This may help with the way the car rides and steers, but may not change back to the way it was before.
