No fender gap = what spring???
Well, im getting some 20's. And, I wont even think about putting the rims on until I get suspension. I already have my race car, the GS is more for look/ show. So I'm not looking at spending a 1000 atleast on coilovers. I'm thinking springs struts.
Problem is I really dont want fender gap, this tends to be a problem if your not using coilovers. I have been looking at different springs; Tannabe, esplir, spring, etc. I wasnt really sure what sturt to pair them up with, I was thinking Bilstein.
Does anyone have any experience or more importantly PICS of different spring drops. little gap as possible
Thanks,
Mike

Forget the springs...
If you are looking for an aggresive drop then just go straight to coilovers.I know that they are more money but most people who want more drop or want to tuck their wheels go that route and it ends up costing them more in the long run because they went springs first. There are plenty of coilovers available for your car and it's just a matter of how you want your car to handle and ride, and of coarse how much you want to spend It may cost more but just wait a little longer to save the extra money needed to do it the right way..BTW-There are always other members selling coilovers set-ups in the classifieds, you may want to check in there every so often..

well im still undecided, but I have narrowed it down to a few choices. First for springs, Espelirs, Tannabes, or Daizen's. They all seem to have a perty low drop. Anyone have any experience with these springs? And as for shocks, Im thinking either L tuned or bilstein, I have bilstein on another car, perty stiff. Anyone have any opinions, I need to order this stuff asap

Yes the springs installation is about 48 hours old as of 3/27/04. I was told that they would settle a little more too, so this thing will be just a tad lower once settled. If you want lower than this, just get the coil-over kit otherwise these put me right where I wanted it to be. Besides most guys that have been even lower than this eventually go back up to about this height or higher anyways since roads and all that stuff are worse nowadays.
Good luck Mike with whatever you choose.
