My dad and I might be interested in coming out. We both have GSs. His is a GS4 and mine is a GS3. (he actually owned both until I bought one from him for my birthday).

Mods on his: um. nothing.

Mods on mine: um. stereo.

But hey- it would be cool to compare notes. I just picked up some Yokohama ES100s and they're superb.

Any mods planned? Interested in doing any mods? I've got a set of eibach springs sitting in my garage- all I need to do is get the bilstein shocks and install everything.

My wife and I love our GS400. Its definitely the best car we've ever owned. I'm not planning any major mods. I will most likely upgrade the speakers, but keep the factory Nakamichi deck and changer. I may consider a TTE chin spoiler at some point and may upsize the tires and wheels to 18s when the existing rubber needs to be replaced.

This is the first sedan we've owned that doesn't drag the front or backend and lowering it will make it much more prone to this annoyance. Also, we both love the balance between sport and luxury, so stiffening the suspension is out of the question.

Can't do San Jose -- No more vacation.

I unfortunately just found out that I can't go. I have a funeral to attend to on Friday and that is the day of the drive. If you are interested in driving up - there is a small group of people going up from LA to Norcal on Friday afternoon.
