Anybody interested in CL - Houston meeting sometimes in November?

I was thinking either November 16 (Saturday) or November 23 (Also saturday) maybe?

How about a meet at the track? HRP is open on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening. Trust me, it is a ton of fun to blast down the track. There is also a scale so people can weigh their car and find out just how MUCH that stereo and vid system added to the mass We can also see who has the quickest Lexus in the Houston Club

Wednesday evenings are dirt cheap at only $12 for all the passes you care to make. If you just want to watch it is only $8. Lots of area to park and BS about our cars and even a chance to pick a race with a Maxima, Honda or whatever!

If you have never been to the track this is a good chance.
Wednesdays and Sundays are the least busy.

Wed, 5pm-10pm, $12 to race, $8 to watch.
Sun, 4pm-10pm, $15 to race, $8 to watch.

I like getting in several runs and that can be tough on Friday due to the crowds. If you go Sunday or Wed send me an email and I will meet up with you. Maybe do a mini meet if some others are game... if they tain't schiken...

BTW, if anyone would like to try but are cautious because they haven't been before... don't worry. Most people at the track are open and friendly, eager to give pointers.

I have made aproximately 200 passes and will be happy to answer questions and even take someones car down the track to see what I can get out of it... no charge...

 

Hm... HRP sounds like fun. I just don't have the time during the weekdays..... That's why I proposed the weekend (saturday) afternoon around 5 or 10 in the morning.

Yes, I was there. I was the one checking out brakes and engines. I understand about during the week time limitations. Instead of Sat at 5 how about a Sunday at 5 at the track of course!

A Houston meet for ClubLexus sounds good! We still have meets for the other car club I'm in: Club CRX Texas. This is interesting!

I don't have my LS yet but I would like to meet some of you guys.

 

Unless the track is closed for rain... I will be there at 5pm. I tried to get more responses to this meet but my suggestion posts to check the meeting forum were deleted I inquired as to why in the site suggestion and Ethan apologized. So, I am going to PM everyone here that posted just in case it slipped their minds I would suggest ANYONE that knows someone in the Houston or surrounding area... PM them as well and have them check the track info above that I posted. Anyone have any questions... PM me!
