Hi,

A dragstrip near me runs Test and Tune days on Sundays from 1pm - 5pm. I tried to go this past Sunday but it was rained out before I could get any runs in. Provided they will be open this coming Sunday, I will be heading up there again. If anyone local wants to go, lets meet up there.
The track is Shadyside Dragway in Boiling Springs, NC, outside of Shelby. Their number is 704-434-7313. The have an answering machine that usually has the planned events coming up and whether they are running or not.

It looks like few showers and 30% chance of rain Sunday... not too bad.. maybe it will improve by Sunday.

If anyone wants to go, I know exactly where the track is, and we can meet up somewhere on the way there and I can lead you there(its out in BFE). I believe it only costs $10.00 to get in and race.

Come on out.. lets go do some racing Want to get a good baseline on what my car should run.

Good 'ole Shady Side! I used to run there years ago. Don't worry, even if it rains you can still run. They use the street cars to dry the track. HA. Maybe this rainy weather will finally clear up and you can lay down some good numbers!
