$$$500 for installing coilovers???
just got some Yonaka Spec II coilovers and they guys from vividracing.com in Gilbert, AZ are charging 500 bucks for install and alignment. I was looking at older threads and the average price seemed between 180-200. Has anyone worked with vivid and does the price sound high to anyone else like it does to me?

Take a drive and get them done by someone on the site. That way you make a few friends and get a good feel for the difference on the way back home. BTW could you let us know how you like the Yonaka Spec II coil-overs please. I hadn't herd of them until now.
Spring rates are as follows:
Front springs: 10kg
Rear springs: 8kg
I do not need racing coilovers. I bought the F because i have always liked their look and being able to drive fast on certain occasions is just a plus. I really want to improve the ride quality and for $839(final price) i could not resist trying out the Yonaka Spec II coilovers. I looked for reviews and could not find anything negative. Seems that no one has give these a try except for Brian Fox. I spoke to Brian personally and that helped me make my decision. Brian has Yonakas on his Twin Turbo and has never had a problem. I mean, this is a 600 hp twin turbo car that he tells me he has pushed to the limit. So, if Yonaka can take Brian's twin turbo beatings i know they can handle my weekend driving. I'll post a review if i ever get them installed lol. PS: If you can recommend anyone in the Phoenix/Tucson area that won't charge me an arm and a leg to get them installed let me know. thanks

im surprised u never heard of them but im sure u seen a car with them on maybe. fox marketing cars use these coilovers for the is-f and the is-c. they are cheap and good quality. best bang for the buck. my question would be does these need to get rebuild after the shocks are done and how is the waiting time.
UMS Tuning does great work as well. Known the guys for years and they are straight forward, no BS.
