Default suspension problem?

recently my 01 is300 has been squeaking and creaking REALLY bad in the front when i go over speed bumps. the car barely has 60k on it and everyone was telling me its the ball joints. i decided to put the car in the shop and it has literally been in there for OVER A WEEK and they STILL dont know the problem is. They just replaced my struts yesterday and the sound was still there. Earlier they wanted to replace both my lower and upper control arms and linkage and struts all at the same time. To me that pretty much sounds like a whole new front suspension which shouldnt be happening at 60k.

any ideas?

but they already replaced my struts and the sound is still there. They're bringing in more inspectors to look at my car cuz apparently no one can figure it out over there lol. but its becoming a BIG hassle for me!

wow maybe the strut blew then the liquid leaked onto the bushings and cause undew corrosion which is causing sounds?

wow i didnt even think about that, some were saying it could be the bushings too. They called today and apparently they're saying that my upper and lower controller arms need to be replaced for safety reasons. its not normal to be replacing all of this at 60k is it?

i replaced the control arm myself with the help of my friends with a lift at a high school auto tech class haha i went to JPI in garland for a suspension check so i could get an expert opinion instead of my friends blind guesses so he said the same thing ie replace that control arm because my old one was bent so i replaced it and it was good for a while then when it started raining and getting cold squeak! ah maybe it needs to be tighten better? my buddy will attempt to tighten it when he gets back from winter break so we will see i hope thats all it is

ah, well good luck on that, hopefully it works out for ya. i finally got a hold of the service manager at the dealership and their concensus was: when i put on the brakes, my front tires become pigeon-toed, which in turn is stretching and stressing my upper and lower control arms. The car has NEVER been wrecked, ive never hit a curb, never gone over a curb, nothing! have you ever heard of that happening to an IS or ANY car for that matter?
