This is more to determine where people are willing to travel to for a Lexus event.
plus, mine is a poll... which allows lazy people to chime in!
lets do it... how about something around the beginning of summer? Have any dates in mind?
I was thinking doing it at the San Antonio Zoo Park because of large park area, food, and is near downtown.
Specs
Ranked as one of the best zoos in the nation exhibiting over 3,500 animals of 750 species. At the headwaters of the San Antonio River, the zoo encompasses 35 landscaped acres. Includes one of the largest bird collections in the world. The Zoo has a magnificent mini-zoo designed specifically for children under 5, Kronkosky's Tiny Tot Nature Spot. Open 365 days a year. Hours: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. from Labor Day to Memorial Day; 9 a.m.- 6 p.m., Memorial Day to Labor Day. Admission: adults $9; seniors (62+) and children (3-11) $7; military $8; under 2 free. Group rates available.

Im down. I really dont think that many people will be intrested, theres only been 10 votes on the poll, and there 4 of us that have posted here. That leaves 6 lazy people to chime in. Even if it is just like 5 or 6 of us, Im still down, I always liked the Zoo. Monkeys are freakin cool.

I will call the North Park Lexus in S.A and see if they are interested in hosting the event.. "cross fingers"
I'm down for a planned, diverse gathering in S.A. I'm up in N. Austin. I really don't know too many Lexus enthusiasts here, most of the owners are either family friends of my parents or other older, professionals not too much into cars.
However, I am fairly active w/ the NSX guys around the area, some Honda circle's, and the Lotus Elise guys. There are Hill Country Drives monthly w/ many Elises and a few: Corvettes, Vipers, Ferrari's, Porsche's, Lamborghini's, NSX's, M3's,350Z's, Supra's, S2000's, STi's, Evo VIII's, S4's, AMG's, Classic's/Antique's, etc'...

I don't know how I missed this thread....lol. Anyway I'm in north Austin as well and would definitely be down for a meet of some sort. Oh, and anyone that is in this area, feel free to contact me....always nice to meet new people and for that matter we probably know some of the same people. I know the Honda circles a bit myself as well as the a couple of the NSX guys, and also at least one member of the Texas rx's. Getting SW to show....well that would be nice....now getting Clint Pohler to show in his SC would be good also...when there is a solid date and such I would put something up on TRS(Texas Racing Scene) and of course Supra Forums would be a good place to drum up some interest as well.

First, How many of you Dallas Folks would be willing to drive down???
Well I think we have a tentative plan!....
Now lets get something hammered out. JPI, do you all want to help get this thing put together? Anyone have an preferences as to where and when in San Antonio? I don't know Texas all that well.
I'm thinking:
-When: Saturday May 6th, 2006
-Time: Meet/Show and Greet - 11:30am - 4pm / Group Cruise - 4-5pm
-5-7pm Group Dinner at P.F. Chang's China Bistro
-Food: Catered
-Location: ????? Perhaps either a Lexus or Toyota Dealership? I dunno
