Default New Hendrick Lexus in Charlotte area

To those in the Charlotte, NC area, have you heard that Hendrick Lexus plans on opening a new Lexus dealership near exit 18 off I77? I'm not sure if this is Charlotte or Huntersville.

I'm also not sure when they're going to open, since the exit isn't even finished and they haven't broken ground yet. But I was told in would open in 2007.

I vaguely recall hearing something about it a year or so ago (something about a lake location) but had not heard any more since then.

That'd be nice for me - much closer. Would hate to lose my excellent service advisor and other guys I know at the other location. Maybe they'll move

Dave,

Also wanted to say thanks for recommending Rob to me. We just bought a cpo 2005 RX330 and he did an outstanding job of managing the car's repairs. Many things were repaired or replaced per my request or items he discovered. The car was also touched up and detailed. They had the car for about 1 week, which was OK by me since I had a RX350 loaner. I just said keep it as long as you need it.

Rob was great to work with and always kept me informed of the car's status. The car looked like new again when I picked it up. I couldn't be more happy with Rob and the work that was done.

By the way, Rob said he was trying to get a position at the new dealership, so we both may be in luck.

Dave

Technically still in Charlotte, which means there will be two Lexus dealerships in Charlotte. I might have expected them to go to Huntersville, to be out of Charlotte. But, I guess that the rules for neighboring dealers aren't so strict.

Default North of Charlotte

Cool, anything north of Charlotte (proper) is easier to get too. Especially for us mountain folk
