Does anyone know a shop that can pass my car with no cats in the atlanta area or anywhere in georgia for that matter?

 

Ii had mine done last week assuming that you are obd2 then it shouldnt be a problem they just hook up the computer they dont do a visual inspection.

Just make sure you dont have any CEL

 

i dont think so... i have a 93 sc gutted and it failed both times. Im driving back down in april with cats on to pass. If i can find one that i can slip a few to pass with no cats that would be great. Especially if i so go with the 1jz

What does CEL stand for

 

Sorry CEL is check engine light

93 would be OBD1 so they actually put a sensor in the tailpipe.

there are a few shops on tara blvd that will, the shop I used to use went out of biz, not because thy were caught, just one of those crappy economy situs

OK if you are driving down with the CATS on, why don't you do the test then with the cats on ?

Another trick to pass is to put race gas in and get inspected. Race gas runs very lean and will pass cars 95 % of time if they don't do a Visual, which most don't.

 

I think ima just put the old cat back on. Get it tested and then take it back off wen i get back to ny. I should pass with the main cat thou, juss make sure its nice and hot b4 i go in for inspection. Oh and another thing.... can i got get my test done at 2 different locations and use ONE passing test and keep the other for december (my bday) Basically so i dont have to drive down again in dec.
