Locking the thread on the GS4 comment...
By not erasing it, it gives that moron more exposure for his BS comments. I am completely offended by his rant and offer this up as one more example of why the 1st Gen section needed to be added.
I know that the comments are NOT indicative of all of the GS4 owners. Many participate or just browse the 1st Gen forum because they are true auto enthusiats. To all of the GS4 guys out there who do not feel as "Killer" does, thank you for your support and I in no way hold anything against you. To all that do...kiss my a$$.

But like 2Lexos, I don't think that guy should be suspended (unless his posts show a pattern and practice of submitting threads that are inflamatory).
Oh, and I've calmed down now. I realize the comment by KillerGS4 is just HIS opninion and does not reflect the opinion of most GS400 owners.
But like 2Lexos, I don't think that guy should be suspended (unless his posts show a pattern and practice of submitting threads that are inflamatory).
I agree but I personally prefer a locked thread vs a deleted thread unless it's REALLY offensive. That way:
- the same thread doesn't get started over-and-over
- other people can see why the thread was locked
- we don't have "who deleted my thread" posts all over the place
- idiotic opinions can be preserved and referred back to at a later point

IMO, it's the difference between moderating a conversation and controlling it. I'm on other boards where theads often 'disappear' and firmly believe its not a good practice.
Also - I believe his comments were aimed at eliminating the second gen GS300, not first gen (although he didn't state it as such). I don't think this is ammunition for further "first gen vs second gen" arguments.
Everyone will take it for what it was - an idiotic elitist comment. Just leave it at that and add the guy to your ignore list.
Moving this thread to the site suggestions section.
