Quick question..
Just noticed today, the Face Book "Like" button jumps up & down when I am inside a thread...
Plus it seems to cause a bit of slowed down traffic on pages when I am just idling in a thread too..
How do I get rid of the "Like" button?
It really is usless to me, plus the jumping icon is making my page refresh.
Any input?
Thanks
Joe Z

I guess you could specifically add the image URL to an adblock program.
I haven't seen it do that before so I'd try it on other computers and see if it isn't a local problem.

I'm only noticing it on my home laptop..
Of course my "firewalled" work PC doesn't even show the Fbook like button. So thats a plus..
Can you direct me to what I can add to my home laptop, to block that button, so it's not jumping on my screen ?
Or
An Option to turn Fbook features On & Off, might even be a good idea too...
Like if you're not merged or logging in with Fbook, then the like button should not be there.. Just a thought.
Thanks

Thanks Joe, look for it on other PCs because I think the 'jumping' may be a problem with your laptop. Maybe try deleting your browser cache
Whatever adblocker you use for your browser should have a place to enter specific URLs you want to to block from showing up. You could probably add facebook properties URL aboe to it similar to what your work does and it would keep the link from showing up. Of course it might also keep you from being able to access facebook entirely... not sure of that.
