I think that the members numeric post count should be removed. It seems like many people post for no reason and I think this would cut down on needless posts. If the descriptions like Pole Position, Fanatic, Rookie, etc. were kept, members would still know the "experience" of those on the board. Just something to think about.

Did you even read what I wrote? It was not really a complaint, more of a suggestion. It was not sad or disrespectful at all either. Im not trying to tell people how many posts they are allowed to have. All Im saying is that I get tired of reading meaningless posts all the time. If someone posts 20 quality posts a day I have no problem with that. I just get a little aggrevated when Im reading a thread and people start talking about what their dog had for breakfast or **** like that. I dont mind if its in the lobby, but it takes away from the posts. By removing that little number, I believe it will cut down on needless posting by people.

 

No, what is sad and disrespectful(sp?) is the recent Lobby thread, "hahaha". Traffic signs and Billboard humor. An individual posted 53 times, out of 134 total posts. The moderator eventually warned him, "People, funny stuff, not OFFENSIVE stuff...Go back to the traffic signs, please." 10 more posts from this individual in 23 minutes. The thread was locked.

53 posts, in the same thread, in 7hours 47 minutes? Sad.
Looks like he's he's trying to set a record for most smilies, too.

I agree, remove the post count from public view.

I have no problem leaving the post count available in the member's profile.

The new webmaster should be able to do this easily.

You guys have not seen post *****s yet. Go to an acura or honda board where they SET UP a PW thread (I am not knocking their thread either) and you will appreciate our members posts.

This is a forum of different people, from different places, etc etc and we will not agree with everything someone says or does.

But damn we have nice taste in cars.!
