do you pay tax in CA for shipping cost too?
Hi Californians,
I ordered the some parts from Carson, they sent the receipt as
shipping charge + the items + tax = total cost. Just wanna to know if they charged me correctly. Or they just wanna to help to increase CA's revenue

the tax should have been $3.3 not $3.96. I dont mind because is only a few cents but they shouldn't do that
imagine if you order some thing big like a body kit!!! also they charge 8.25% on tax?? I thought the state tax was 7.75% at least where I live is 7.75%

California has a statewide sales tax of 7.25%, and local supplementary taxes are allowed up to 8.75% - Wikipedia

Hey guys I just noticed this thread and wanted to clear it for you guys. There is no sales tax on shipping charges. What might have happend is just an error on our side at the cashiers. If you have an invoice that shows that, just pm me or give me a call so we can take care of it for you.
