Anyone official know if those who signed up for the CL decals will ever get them or are we SOL?

You will never get them via the old method.

 

How does Club Lexus feel about members making their own Club Lexus decals for local, fellow members? I'd hate to violate any agreements, it'd just be nice to have our members marked.

 

I'm curious about this as well. I have some extra CL stickers, anyone local is willing to pick up one or two..

 

We strongly discourage it, and absolutely do not allow it for profit.

We will get the stickers out as discussed previously (through local meets and events) once we've finalized on the logo. New reversion of CL is coming out shortly so we should have that done by summertime I believe.

 

DaveGS4, Or anybody for that matter, can you send me a high resolution pohot of the CLUB(L)EXUS that was used for decals so I can make my own. I am going to have the image brought to the shop out here so they can make me a few stickers.

I thought the old logo looked good, why the change? Also will it be mailed out to those who want it aswell?

 

The old logo is not able to be used any longer at Lexus legal department's request.

No, it will not be mailed out. Initially will be available at larger CL meets or where moderators attend. We may consider selling them for a small fee at some point but initially will distribute via CL meets.

No it will not be a real Lexus logo - it will be similar the CL you see at the top of this page.

I don't know if they will be done by then... If 1sicklex goes I believe he still has some of the 'old style' stickers he could bring or I can send him a few to take. I don't have many left, the bulk of them were stolen from me at Lexfest 2005 where I had them sitting out for members to freely take a couple, but some greedy folks just took the entire stack and now have them sitting in their garage instead of letting us get them out to members.

 

Boo for red tape! How about for us unfortunate few that don't live in SoCal/FL/TX?? I have no meet to go to and no way to get CL stickers!

 

We've never shipped out of the US. You are SOL unless someone comes to visit you and brings you some.
