how about we make new members automatically use the search feature twice before opening the forum to them and letting them post..............lol

 

Thats funny, i somehow agree

 

and eliminate the ablility to ask in SC forums "whats it worth"////...lol

 

We're going to do two things to try to stem this...

1) rewrite of forum rules that get sent to the new members strongly encouraging use of search and an introductory post

2) generation and sticky of FAQs including new buyer questions at the top of the heavier use forums. This is well underway for the GSs, I just need to find time to compile it all.

 

and in the interim... be nice to the newbies. You were one once too , lol.

In the past, if I'm reading a thread written by "bluelex", I can send him a PM by hitting the PM button at the very bottom of his post.

Is that gone now?
