Default moving threads

I know this has been covered a million times, but its pretty frustrating. I'm talking about mods moving threads. Sometimes I think they get moved just to be moved. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there have been some unnecessary moving of threads lately. For example, a thread I started more than a year ago brought back to life because someone had a question. It was fine all that time in the sc forum, but then it had to get moved to the sc engine forum when it was brought back.
I'm not really looking for answers, but maybe by bringing this to light, their could be some internal review to take a look at this.

Thanks guys,
Tim

It sometimes happens in other forums as well (GS for example)... an old thread gets bumped up from before we had the sub-forums and it gets moved. Nobody is singling your thread out .

Fully understand your sensitivity & frustration. Believe me, nobody LIKES to move threads. We just want to get stuff to the right place when there is an obvious fit for it in a subforum.

I'll start keeping an eye on some of the threads that get moved to make sure we're doing the right thing. Please PM me if you see one you question.
