He has been MIA for a while

 

Daddy-O still pops in from time to time.

 

Not to thread jack , but where is MeanGene ? He was an OG and always helpful !

 

They are around just lurking more and you know how it gets, sometimes ya just get real busy. Shoot em a PM.

He means that Mean Gene is one of the original CL members in this context.

 

I wondered the same thing about Daddy-O a while back and was gonna shoot him a PM, but he has removed the ability to do that (or send email) in his profile. So no way to contact...

If the OGs are leaving is the site closing up shop in the near future or some other problem?

 

Not at all. CL moderators are all volunteers for a certain period of time and we regularly switch folks out to keep them from getting burned out or to give other members who have demonstrated they have an aptitude for helpfing folks in a mature manner an opportunity to be a moderator .

Mean Gene if I recall from some of his posts was going through some personal stuff and was also thinking about buying a new Corvette. Gene was online just a couple of weeks ago, so he still lurks like many of our members... People come and go on CL, just like in real life.
