rear power door issues
When using the button on the dash, the rear power door on my 2007 rx350 closes immediately after opening. Anyone got a fix?

I had a similar issue where the hatch would close prematurely. I just replaced the struts from amazon and what a difference. It now opens easily by hand. I think I only spent $45 on them.
keep in mind that if you have to make the motor work harder to open the hatch and keep it open, it will wear out the motor sooner....

I have the same problem but it only occurs at frigid temperatures.
Seems to me that something freezes along the path of the strut and causes it to close.
Leaving it for now as is

The hydraulic fluid in the shocks.
Viscosity of the fluid in there doesnt flow as well when its 80 degrees.
So yes, it will have a hard time flowing.
Same problem im having on my RX but too lazy to change them out. lol
