Default Spare Tire RC F

Has anyone bought a spare tire for their RCF? If you did, what size did you get? Got a flat last night and unfortunately, I could not get my car unto the flat bed with damaging my front lip. I took off the rear right bumper when I tried get up the ramp. Needless to say I couldn't get a tow home. Thankfully I had friend come out to loan me their spare from the GSF. I would think since it work and got me home, it should be good enough for the front as well. It was T 135 / 70 R18. I plan on getting a T 135 / 80 R18 and it should work as well front and back, right? The price we pay for lowered ride.

I bought Barum Bravuris 255/35/19 and Konig Oversteer from Discount Tire Direct.

You put a full spare in your trunk?

Yes. I removed everything under the 'Lexus' trunk carpet and put the full spare under the trunk carpet.

Default RCF spare

here in Hawaii and Guam, our RC-F come standard (not optional as I understand) with this beautiful 19” spare. Only downside is the horrible trunk space.

The tow truck driver should have carried with him some wooden boards of sorts or aluminum ramp extensions for this type of situation......

Would the tow hook point in the grill be enough to pull the car not the flat bed?

The purpose of the tow hook is to pull the car safely without having to latch under the car like the old traditional methods. If you need to pull the car, insert the tow hook and then attach whatever device you're pulling the car with into the eye hole of the tow hook.

if towing the car, the tow truck driver will attach a cable from a winch onto the tow hook, and reel the car onto the flatbed.

My car was too low and would have pull off my rear bumper, which it did on the right side, plus my tow hook has my front license tag on there. Thanks
