Default time display inside the car

I am just wondering if i can tell current time anywhere else other than the physical clock inside 2017 LX570? I was trying to look up manual to find out but was not successful. It's a bit strange that the car cannot display the time on the screen or cluster panel. It would be really nice to display it on HUD as well. what's the odds that people check out compass more often than the time on HUD .

Agree. The time appears in numerous places in my Audi S8.

Analog clocks were put it to add a bit of "old world" charm and class. Some like it
and some of course don't. For the 2017 model year a couple of Lexus cars put a
digital clock display in the Drivers Information Center between the Tach & Speedo.
The ES, GS and RX now have that redundant display but not the LX.

First of all, the cluster panel on LX is already crowded and it looks too busy, that might be the reason LX does not want to put the digital clock on it. 2nd, if you want to know the time real bad... everyone nowadays has either on the iphone or wearing a wrist watch. That is being said, I hope you don't glue your eyeballs on the road and don't scan around the inside the car while driving to look for the time on you iphone or wrist watch.

I do like the analog clock on LX, it looks elegant and classy. And replacing the analog clock to digital clock, where it is right now, not only it looks cheap but also old school. Of course, cannot make everyone happy.

well, I have both iphone and wrist watch, but still I wish there was a digital clock somewhere in the car that I can look up the time easily and quickly. I am sure most people still keep the clocks in their rooms nowadays even though they have alternatives. If cluster panel is too busy, how about displaying it somewhere on that big a** center console screen . I agree that analog watch in the car looks classic. I like it a lot and don't think it's good idea to replace it with digital one. To me it's there mostly for decoration, it kinda sucks to figure out the time quickly from it though.

On a positive note, the LX can show the MPH in the quick to read digital display
which the others do not. Nice to have in a hurry.

It would be great if the navigation display could show the current time - just a few lines of program code. But I miss the current GPS altitude much more...
