Tesla Business & News Thread Pt. 2
As we reboot the Tesla Business thread we're updating the guidelines to ensure we maintain a civil environment based on some of the issues encountered in the prior iteration.
The rules of the EV Forum and the overall community rules still also apply.
Please read the below before posting in this thread:
Allowed topics are pretty straightforward:
Topics to AVOID in this thread:
If there is a problematic post that violates any of the guidelines links above, do not respond to it - just push the 'report a post'' button and let the moderator team review it. Responding & escalating the situation puts you at risk of being asked to exit the thread as well.

Allowed topics are pretty straightforward:
- Relevant Tesla news - sales, recalls, new product introductions, etc. Both good and bad news is OK to discuss.
- General Tesla experiences - test drives, ownership, charging, etc. Both positive and negative experiences are OK to discuss.
- General Tesla stock discussion
Topics to AVOID in this thread:
- DOGE and anything politics related
- His (un)popularity
- His fanbase
- His pay package. If something new happens with the DE case, then we can post it, but the time to discuss the relative merits of the pay package has passed.
- Personal comments about another member posting in this thread. That was been a recurring issue in the past Tesla-focused thread and will be a quick way to get booted from this one
- "Whataboutism". Discussing issues or concerns with Tesla is OK if done maturely and politely. If you disagree with something posted, do it factually without purposefully taking a jab at another member

This popped up with cold weather. Interesting they havent implemented a 4 corner ebrake system. No transmission so no pawl interlock.

The E 'brake' uses the rear brakes, and when in Park, all four motors are locked, you have to put it in Tow mode if you need to tow it for any reason. So unless the Tesla is slipping on an icy driveway, the wheels are all locked when in Park. Rwd model rear motor is locked

Moving on, Grok 3 is coming to Tesla cars I'm wondering how exactly this will work since the entire data set can't be in each vehicle. Which means latency.
On the ai front being added to every car, what expectations will the common folk have regarding this new implementation towards improving their daily commute and usage of Teslas?
Would it be the same case usage like adding Gemini on Android phones in place of Google assistant? Gemini is horrible btw, went back to Google Assistant
