Alright, I hear everyone loud and clear... I'll set some time aside tonight to shoots some photos of the new G90. It might be slightly dusty looking (still waiting for my road to be fully paved), but it'll give everyone an idea of what I'm driving these days. Thanks for all the encouragement! I'll definitely share my observations on the car as I break it in.

Okay, here are some photos I snapped tonight. Not the best of light, and the car was a bit dusty from my gravel road, but this should give everyone an idea of my new Genesis G90...

Thanks for taking time and posting the photos.

I really liked the interior. Looks very elegant and classy. Not a much about front or back views.

Is the wheel base same as std 460 or L base?. Based on back row, seems like std 460 size.

It's LWB. I had moved the front seats all the way back for the photos. I think my LS600hL had slightly more leg room in the back, but it's pretty close.

I agree that the interior is a high point on this car -- I'm getting used to the front and rear and actually kind of like the rear tail light setup. I think Genesis was copying the Mercedes S (and/or Maybach) in the rear styling. The front is pretty upright, but I think it looks nice, and I do prefer it to the more aggressive spindle-grill look on the newer LS's.

Man, I am really liking that car. Interior seems to have a lot of what I like in the 460 plus all the newer tech..

Question, does the hold feature work the same as the 460?

And for the record I think it is great for this community to have someone who has a G90 so we can ask questions and get honest answers...

Here's a good comparison of the specs on a 2016 LS460L AWD vs a 2017 Genesis G90 3.3TT AWD: http://www.thecarconnection.com/car-...58706,40055134

Looks like the Genesis is actually slightly larger on the inside than the 460L, with a nearly identical wheelbase.

Greg, I'm still in the "honeymoon" phase of owning the G90, so I can say I'm completely enamored at this point, but I really am enjoying the high-tech features. I'll try to temper my early enthusiasm and answer any questions asked by the forum honestly and objectively.

To answer your question, yes, the Hold feature works identically to the LS460. I think it may start up slightly easier after you press the gas pedal, in fact (my LS600 could sometimes be a bit abrupt when starting back up).

Somewhat related to the hold feature is the radar cruise that really does a great job of easing the car to a smooth stop when you come up on traffic. During this morning's commute, on a nice easy 45 mph 2-lane road with a few stoplights sprinkled in, I set the cruise at 45 mph, set my following distance fairly close (the Genesis allows for a shorter following distance than the LS), and just let the radar cruise take control for several miles through several stops. The car smoothly slows down and comes to a stop about the right distance behind the car ahead at stop lights, and it Auto-holds (whether the Hold button is pushed or not). When the light changes, I had to tap the "Resume" button on the cruise, and it smoothly accelerated behind the car ahead to maintain a good distance until the next light. I went a long way without having to touch the gas or the brake. Pretty cool!

Just a damn sexy beast. I want one so bad. That interior is ridiculous.

Does the G90 offer a wood trimmed steering wheel? Being nitpicky, that would be the one thing the interior is missing IMO.

Good call. I missed that, and youre right...unless the wheel has some very nice standout stitching. The ggod thing about the all leather though, is that the heated steering will be heated all around, like my 7 series was.
