Default Loud clanking noise when going over bumpy road

Anyone experience a clanky noise when driving over speed bumps or on a bumpy road? It only happens occasionally, sounds like it's coming from the rear under carriage or rear tires.

Yes, i have the same issue with my IS350 F Sport.. Also had same problem with 2006 IS350 which took the dealer forever to pinpoint the noise. It sounds like it comes from the rear driver side wheel or axle. I am hesitant to take it in for now until others figure out exactly what this is as they kept my car like couple weeks to figure it out.

Have you put tension on the e-brake wire? Common problem with new cars.

I had this issue when I first got the car and the noise went away on its own.

Yes this problem has been experienced on a number of IS300h F-Sport over here in France. It has been confirmed by at least two Lexus dealers and the problem has been reported to Lexus late last year. We are now waiting for an answer and/or a solution.

It has been only noticed on F-Sport models that do not have the Adaptive Variable Suspension.

After 2000 miles my 250 just started doing this. It's not on all bumps just once in a while. It's very noticeable with the driver side window open.

Edit: Gonna try setting the parking brake for a few nights to see if it helps.

Had the same problem, clunky noises coming from the rear on every reflector/ bump, anything that made wheels rebound quickly. So the problem was found to be the ebrake parts. They fixed mine by tightening the cable and greasing the inside of the hubs. The noise went away completely, then came back a few months later, so they retightenined it and greased it better, said one side was not lubricated enough, and so far it's been 4 months or so, no clunk.
