Default Finally, back to where things started, well sort of... (New addition w/pics)

I'v tried out many cars after I lost my '90 LS back in 2004, and each one never felt right. So I finally got my favorite year of the 1UZ LS400. It's a 2000 Platinum Ed., sliver on gray, I picked it up with 80K miles from a lady owner in CA and I'm lovin' it!

It doesn't have air suspension so I'm looking for some coilovers. I need to tint the windows to try and keep out the Nevada sun, and I'm planning on making a cold-air intake for it, and maybe an exhaust down the road. I also want to throw on some 19X9.5 - 19X8.5 but I don't know if a 35mm offset will ride rub-free with un-stretched tires. The front bushings are bad, and I thought Daizen made all the control arm bushings for the car, but it looks like I was mistaken. Does anyone make them, and where can I get the various poly bushings for the car? Thanks for your help guys!

I had Daizen bushings on my 90. I didn't mind a harshness, I tend to favor the performance aspect of them. But does anyone even make them for the UCF20s?

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up. I had a good experience with TM YEARS ago, but I started to hear otherwise lately. Besides, they don't have bushings for a 98-00 year anyway. Are they the same as a first gen?

nope, they arent.

why spend money on UCA bushings when if the balljoint dies you'll have to buy a new one anyways as they aren't replaceable....

Arnott makes some UCAs for the front, should be the best non-oem buy.

Nice car! I wish they offered that edition north of the border.
I think a 35 offset will work with those wheels. It just depends how low you end up going. I have a 20's in the same widths with a 40f/45r offset with 245/275 tires and they're nowhere near rubbing at the stock height. We'll see once the Megans go in.

Oh, I thought things changed after '94. Have you seen the Arontt arms in person? They price is really appealing.

Those are nice tire sizes, I'm probably going to drop the car flush. I don't think ill get too aggressive this time around. Can't wait to see your setup on coilovers.
