I have a 03 Lexus LS430 that I purchased two months ago. The car has built in gps/navigation. The gps is not very accurate. Ive used it to travel both in familar places and non familar places. The system pretty much is crap. Can this system be upgraded by Lexus? Or do I have to work with what I have. Please provide some insight on this issue. Thanks.

Are you saying that the issue is that the maps are out of date, or that the Nav unit is routing you ineffectively or inaccurately? If the issue is the latter, there's not much to do. It's just the nature of this Nav unit-it's pretty awful. There's been a lot of discussion on this forum regarding the Navigation in the LS 430, almost all of it very negative. If you just need a map update, they can be purchased from a variety of sources including dealers, Ebay etc. The directions for installation are in your manual.
