Hi, can anybody know if i can add the blutooth option ( Phone ) in my Lexus 2002 with NAV system and also Parking Assesstent system as well as rare camera.

if you go aftermarket i am pretty sure you can get the parking assist and rear view camera

however if you want to get the systems like that on the 04+ ls430 (all integrated), it's almost impossible (way too expensive and labor intensive)

not sure about the upgrade on other countries

 

Halla bahil Jeddah. Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade your current '02 Navi to the Saudi map that’s available for the '04's. Because they are two different systems, and are not interchangeable

I have a few friends, and I’m about to import an LS430 soon to Saudi, and there’s no way I know off currently to get the maps from the ’04 and integerate them into the ‘02’s.

NOW, having said that, its not impossible to upgrade the Navi computer to the new '04 one so you can use the maps. I dont know anyone that has done it, but its not impossible to do, after all, there was a guy on LOC that got the LS430 navi to work on the 98-00 system.

For those who are lost, In Saudi Arabia, the navi was not an available till ’04, so you got the UL package on EVERY car sold (UL is Std), but no navi till ’04. They are also cheaper over there, I think its around $64K for a UL. In addition, NO TAXES… so you pay your 64K + title and registration fees and walk away.

 

that is not a true statement. we dont have the full UL version in saudi, i.e. the Dynamic Laser Cruise Control. Plus the price for the car is around $70 K.
