Default 04 LS430 UL Nav issue

My navigation on my 04 LS430 UL is completely off! It shows im in the middle of the mountains and jumps around to different streets. It doesnt even show im in the right city.

Is this a common problem?

Thanks all

That is only for finding addresses and POI, doesn't have to do with regular navigating. I would say it's off calibration and you probably need to pay a visit to dealer or pull the battery for 30 min.

Do you have any type of override system on your nav?

You can access the trouble screen by pressing the info button on the right side of the screen while turning your parking lights on and off three times. You should be able to re-calibrate from there.

To exit the screen - press and hold the display button until the Nav screen returns.

Good luck.

do you have a radar detector? anything else on the windshield or dash? those things will interfere with the antenna. you could also have a bad nav ecu or an AVC-LAN issue

Did you try to access the diagnosis screen as I suggested? Just wondering if you had any luck.

What are you referring to as the "info" button? You can access a calibration screen by going
Menu>setup> calibration adjust> position/direction and then use cursor to adjust

Problem solved so far. I went through the options > Settings screen and found calibrated the Nav from there. Went to the corner of the street and aligned it.
Works great so far!

Thanks again for all of the help everyone!

We are also having problem with our navi on Ls 430. Can someone help me on how to fix the cursor? It seems like it is out of alignment. We got to touchscreen check and saw a cursor on the screen but do not know where to go from here.
Anyone....
