I've been going back and forth with a certain dealer. They offered me a 07 ls460 swb with all of the options for $68,872.00. I came back with $64 k for it. After seeing invoice pricing and otion pricing, it's around 4750 more than what the dealer should have in to it??? I am probably willing to go up to $65k and change. What's the best price you guys are getting out there? Thanks!

 

I just viewed the LS460 in New York. I have the "L" with everything but the executive.

They now have brought the price down to $67,100 plus T.T.T, Honestly, if he brings it down to 65,500 or close, I might jump on the deal. I browsed my local dealer today. they had roughly 20+ ls' sitting outside in the rain. I don't think they are selling like hotcakes. I might be able to push the guy down to $65,500... I hope.

 

I am in Dallas--Our dealers here have not come down to 67,100 for that car. 3000 is the largest discount I know of here.

 

Bustn, the dealer cost on that is $61,490 (not including the $1220 holdback). The best deal I know of is $2000 over cost. So if you can get it for $63,490 that would be pretty good. However, different markets seem to have varying degrees of availability. I have 6 dealers (although one owner for 2 of them) within 40 miles and another at at 70 miles. That and less demand in New England tilts the advantage to the buyer.

I don't know what the FL market is like, but if they have that many sitting on the lot .........

Also, I don't know what Toyota's fiscal calendar is, but if its the calendar year, the quarter is ending this month. Another reason they may be predisposed to deal.

 

Why not just walk in, and tell them you are buying a car today and want the price you want, or you are going to the next dealer. I could understand if you are not in a hurry, but if you really want the car, just get the best deal you can right now and start enjoying the car. Life is way too short. Good luck on the purchase!

 

I am really going to push the issue with them. If they cannot match the price, I am sure someone will think $2k is enough profit. Then again, their is always the e class... I'll let you guys know how it goes. I am going to go look at Mercedes tommorow, I want to see how it feels.

 

I already own a 07' Ls460, I am looking to get another. The one I have now is "sold" to my cousin, on Friday.

I am asking fellow ls460 owners if it's a good deal and what they are paying.

Back in Nov. 06', there weren't too many discounting dealers around.That's why I refuse to pay too much now.The negotiations between the dealer and I are not going good.It seems they do not want to sell the LS for $63,490, like I'd hope.Oh well.Another MB might be sitting in the driveway soon.
