I noticed when my car is off, sometimes I’ll hear a buzz coming from the abs module area for a couple seconds. Doesn’t do it all the time. I was out in the garage checking the coolant level after the valley plate leak repair. It was hard to see, so I shook the car back and forth to see if I could point out where the level was if there was a sloshing motion. I heard the pump buzz for a couple of seconds. Car hasn’t been started in days. It’s never constant.
I’ve noticed this after driving and turning the car off. No codes in Techstream. Mine is under warranty until November of this year.
Do these things randomly come on for short periods? I did a search and couldn’t find a definitive answer, but I’m sure someone has brought it up.
Sounds like the electric brake system. Mine pumps up the accumulator each I open the door after it has been sitting overnight. Do you have your brake system flushed annually?

I just bought it at 84k. Flush was done at 64k by Lexus. I plugged in Techstream and checked the actuator voltage and it’s in spec. I kind of answered my own question by digging around here further and found what I needed.
My car was doing that buzzing noise more frequent before I replaced my ABS actuator . After I replaced it and bleed system I hear it here and there but not as many times as before. Still not sure if it’s normal or not, I just thought I would share my experience.
