Default Which car would you buy?

03 Sport Design Gs300 (Graphite Gray Pearl) with saddle interior (some rips and tears) with 132,000 miles for 5,500 obo

or

03 Sport Design Gs300 (Onyx Black) with Black interior (mint interior) with 76,000 miles for 4,900 obo

The second choice seems more obvious but it seems so difficult to find the saddle interior and it just looks SO GOOD.

I haven't seen these cars in person yet but I'm told both have no rust and both are in really good shape.

Thoughts?

I have an 02 GGP SD with a black interior. Personally I would take the GGP. That color is phenomenal and the interior is one of a kind. Totally worth the extra money in my opinion

Love the saddle interior but the question is are the rips / tears something you can have fixed (or live with). You didn't mention the service history but as you know whether the miles are 100k or 200k it's all about how the car was maintained. I might take a car with slightly higher miles and a documented service history over one without.

I would take the GGP with saddle interior as long as you can get service records. The interior color is rare and will help if you ever have to resell as long as its not destroyed now.

Saddle all day if the tears aren't bad.

What everyone else said. You could always check ebay for the replacement upper or lower seat if the tears are bad.

I'd rather have a nice black interior than a ripped up saddle interior, and this is coming from someone who loves loves loves the saddle interior and I do not like the black with brown wood at all.

But the lower price, lower miles, and better condition would make the black car my pick. Lexus interior parts are expensive to replace, and saddle is rare so second hand parts will be even more expensive than black or ivory.

Subject title should change to which "Which GS300 would you buy?" Otherwise can GS300 drive and handle like Audi SQ5, Porsche Macan or Bimmer M3? Car choice depends on each idnvidual driver.

You guys have solid points. The Saddle would be pretty awesome to find as I'm seeing that they don't pop up in Chicago often. The dream is a 03 white GS with Saddle but that's like asking for gold, lol. I'm looking at the black one Saturday morning and the GGP on Sunday afternoon. If the GGP is a let down, just going to go with the Black one. Mom needs a car asap as her Benz is acting up and not worth the insane amount of repair bills so she'd get my 03 Black SD and I'll take one of these.

Checked out the Black GS earlier today - it was garbage. Car was hit on the drivers side quarter panel and was fixed but half assed. The car is missing the driver side Sport Design headlights. The badges are wrong and the shape overall was just bad. Lots of scratches and lots of minor things out of place. Guy had jumper cables in the car too which was iffy. It just looked like it had over 150k miles.. shame that some owners just don't give a **** about their cars sometimes.

I agree, on that. Back then, I would have been fine with the 2J.
Now, it would not have enough power for me.

Both my cars, I thought, had a strange trim plan. Both had "special editions" that were not based off the top trim level.
Why not have a Sport Design based off the 400-430? (Other is an 01 Camry. The Gallery was based off of an LE instead of XLE.)
