Hey guys! I've been a lurker for few years since my 2008 ISF. I just recently traded my 2012 SFP ISF for a 2015 RCF and couldn't be more happier with my purchase.
I've been gone way too long. After I sold my modded '06 IS350, I bought and modded a '10 E550 Coupe, and then a 981 Porsche Cayman S. But recently, I decided to scratch my speed itch and bought a 2011 GT-R, which I then found extremely uncomfortable to drive as a DD and with comparatively very high maintenance and repair costs, and while I modded it to around 530 HP, the value of the car meant that I was able to sell it for a profit. After driving the GT-R, I realized that I no longer do track days very often anymore, nor take cars up to 80% of their capacity in real world driving, and I wanted a car that primarily does the following:
Comfortable
Relatively fast
Great sound
Unparalleled reliability
Artistic style
Found a great match in a '15 Nebula Grey Pearl RC-F with 22K on the clock with Premium, Performance, ML, and Pre-Collision packages and Circuit Red interior. Previous owner had a full clear bra, rear carbon fiber side blades, blacked out window trim, hood vent, and rear badges and some more stuff that I may have missed. Full service history is provided from Lexus, and of course, it's still under warranty.
Glad to be back to CL!
Bonus GT-R pics:
I hear you. I had a track day in a 2013 GT-R, and while that was an amazing track experience going warp speed I couldn't justify a GT-R as a DD. Kept and then sold a modified 6-speed manual corvette for the same reason. Now in chill mode doing the daily stop-go traffic.
Hello from Valencia (Spain).
I am glad to present my RCF, Plata Sonic Colour with interior in Leather&Alcantara.
Is from November 2016 and I bought it after selling my 2015 RX450H
RCF is rare to see on the streets in Spain . Prices are equal to M4 and close to basic 991 Carrera, and still people face to European Cars.
I am really happy with the car and since few moths ago learning from your post in this forum.
Thanks.
Another Texas RCF owner! Thanks for all the available information found on this forum! Initially read a lot about RC350-F's, but then started reading this RCF forum as well. Intention was to look at a used 2017 RC350-F, and had one picked out, but had to at least test drive that RCF on the dealership lot, just to see what I would be missing out on. Well... the test drive was addictive, so wound up buying a 2015 RCF, that looked like it was never driven. So... for a few bucks more, got the RCF instead of the RC350-F. Sometimes I think I will miss that ML radio in that 2017 RC350-F, but also really enjoy listening to a V8!
Wanted a good riding car, but also with some horsepower when asked for. Think I got what I wished for best with the RCF! Thought I would never buy a Lexus with these big ugly spindle grills, but somehow, it does not look so bad on the RCF as it does on my wife's RX-350.
My first Lexus, but bought 5 of them for my wife over the past several years. Seeing how my wife's Lexus's stayed together so well, made me turn to Lexus first.
you should see the glitter overlay! You cannot tell in the picture, but in person it is pretty amazing. It has a blue glitter overlaminate that really pops in the sun.
Barbie version of Lexus RCF...definitely brought the maximum feminine touch
Looks like they did a pretry good job on the wrap. Do I see clear PPF on top of vinyl overlay on back bumper?
You dont, actually. You are seeing the PPF that is on top of the actual paint, but is under the wrap We did not have them remove it (or do another PPF on top of that bit, though we may in the future).
You will be very happy with the RCF. I picked up a mildly used 2015 RCF with carbon/TVD package (all options) just three months ago. I cannot stop thinking about the car as it is hibernating till the end of this month.
p.s. I have the ML 17-speaker and as phenomenal as it sounds, I rarely ever use it because the V8 noise makes it almost pointless.

In Alberta, Canada waiting for the snow to melt...
Came from a 2015 Audi RS5 cabriolet black on black with black optics.
Getting old and practical
2015 RC F 24,000 km
Only option in Canada was Performance Package that includes all options. Also Lexus extended warranty until 4/2023, 140,000km, plus first 8 services.
Then the owner had bought every extra he could, like electric module to keep away rust, interior treatment paint treatment, spray undercoating, and up to 25 chips, scratches on the metal and burns or cuts in the leather, annually
3M from the dealer but I have to rip it off as it is yellow.
Looking forward to another NA V8

Reason: Missed word
New member here from Northern California. About a year ago my wife and I bought a RC350 F sport new. I loved the car so much I wanted the RC F. So I have been watching for a clean used RC F to turn up. The prices on these cars make the RCF the performance bargain of the century! I found a 2015 lease return with 17K in black with a red interior. Traded in my 350 and here I am. Besides a front rim with a little curb rash the car is extremely clean. I may add an exhaust system later and maybe some new rims but not really in a hurry to do much but drive it!
Really here to learn from the experts. Is there a good independent shop in the Sacramento area for service and maybe adding an exhaust system?
