I don't know if it's just me but I have no idea what I'm looking it. There are no directions and only a few photos. Can you give us more information on perhaps where to get the parts to do this?

Sure! anamynous! About the system: it was made by my friend, no any open sale or mass processe. So there is no brand or model. When I got it, the looking just like photo4, but with a plastic bag of course...... For the price ......I am not sure it is ok I post here? PM?

About the DIY: it was very easy, just tap 2 wires with 3M SL-558, green(module) to red(Door) & yellow(module) to blue(Door)

And the important is it works very stable!

I don't think U.S specs cars have motor inside the side mirrors. You probably need to replace the whole mirror assembly in addition to the box he installed.

Cool stuff! Interested to know what US based cars would need to get this working.

That is cool but I dont see how this can work if our USDM car does not have motor to fold the mirrors already built into the mirror.
We cannot probably use this.

Thanks for sharing though

This is great but, just wondering where is your location? Does your car comes with the mirror motors? Can you give us more info on your car please?

Thanks in advance!!

Actully I just removed the driver side door board, fixed the module and wires on the door, tap 2 wires, and plugged in module connector(I will post photo later), that is all. No need to change anything. I asked my friend, he told me very sure that RHD or LHD is same working with his module.

What is [don’t have motor] mean?

In America we do not have that button, so also mean we do not have motor inside the mirror to fold like you do

Just what I thought, in Canada we don’t have the folding mirror button either a least not in f sport 2015, for I moment I thought that it was easier than we all were thinking!! 😂!!

Oh! It is totally unexpected! Because in Asia, like Hong Kong(RHD), Japan(RHD), Tai Wan(LHD), Mainland China(LHD)......Has the manual folding function like me, even just the basic version. And in higher version, they have Door Lock Auto Folding Function, the [AUTO] button in photo
