A little help please?
I have zero side marker lights...none on the body , none in the headlights. Why would they ALL be out in unison?
I've checked fuses, switches, bulbs...can't figure it out.
Help?
If it was me, And you have indeed checked all the fuses, next thing to look at is the "CRA Relay". It gets its power from the headlight relay.
The other thing is the "Front Controller " module. But you didn't mention foglights or headlights. Just marker lights. Good luck.
@Raven01750 Thank you so much, kind sir. I have the relay out and everything else is still working. So...we might be on to the culprit...I'm now hoping
I agree that is a little weird that they are all out. But if the relay is good, all your marker lights could be out. After all, they were all installed at the same time at the factory

Shh! Don't say that too loud. The Lexus Gods will hear and raise the price of that same 10 dollar relay to, say $115.00, which is what I paid before taxes!! Lol.

I wouldn't know. It doesn't come in until at least Thursday. Not only do I not get a kiss but I also have to wait until day after tomorrow to bend over. Lolol.

Lets hope this relay corrects the problem…just curious, why didn’t you move another relay to that slot to test the circuit?
please go out and look for another relay to try in that slot before you pay for the new relay.
they may not let you return the relay after purchase.
Tried another that fit the spot. Not all relays are wired equally, I find. Some are normally open, some are normally closed. The one I tried brought the front marker lights on and they wouldn't turn off, lol.
Just tried another and the front marker lights and parking lights work normally. No rear markers though. Hmm.
Rear side markers are another completely different issue. Those come directly from the Luggage Room JB ECU. Check the bulbs first. Check your license plate light. I'm hoping it's not the ECU. You need to do an inspection of your trunk area by pulling your plastic to inspect for water or water damage. The relay is one thing. Troubleshooting an ECU is totally different. I would be remiss if I didnt tell you to check your grounds also.

Ok, I did try another relay and it worked. It was the headlight washer relay, so don't even need a replacement. Saved myself 125 bucks! BIG THANKS, guys.
As for the rear, I had checked one bulb earlier and it looked to be good so... Anyway, I'll get on the rears next!
Whenever you swap a relay to try something out, you want to swap it for one with the same part number. As you said, the relays do different things and it would be bad if you connected two circuits that both had power. if you swap an identical relay, you don't have to worry about those things.
You can also buy an aftermarket relay pretty inexpensively. Just get the part number off the bad relay and plug it into amazon. They actually have an automotive relay category

Apparently, NO ONE has this particular one. It was even special order at Cavender Toyota, and they had to find it by a superceded part number.
