Default Nav unit swap out

I hope to swap out nav unit this evening.
I watched the video, now seek info from those who have done it.
Any concerns with keys if battery disconnected for short bit?
Video not 100 percent clear , what clips need to be released for vent covers?
any and all input appreciated, wish for no oh crap moment.
Thanks
Brian

Are you swapping the NAV Screen in the upper center dash or the NAV unit in the trunk?
if NAV screen, this thread shows the vent removal and the clips.

Chasingsum

It really is like a walk in the park. I did an exchange on mine because the door was not working when I bought the 2006 in Dec 2018. I had no experience at stuff like this. Watched the you tube videos and dug into it. No problems what so ever. I even exchanged the wood door from mine to the new unit so it would match my dash better. You Got This. No Problems.
