Default Installing NAV unit

I have a 98 GS400 and i want to replace the head unit with an original Lexus NAV unit. Does anyone know if this is possible? if so, has anyone done it?

There's just tons of threads on this.... It has been done... BanannaGS has done it. The thing is you need all the equipment plus the wiring harness.

Thanks, After reading letsrides threads and some others regarding this swap, i think im just gonna save up and eventually trade mine in for one with a nav. Maybe even a for a 430 with the wood steering.

Thanks for the heads up on the other threads. I would have gotten myself into some serious trouble trying to do a plug and play swap.

I dont want to do anymore mods to my car. a couple years back, my brother and i spent 21 grand customizing a 92 celica only to have the engine blow up and had to scrap the car.
