Default Fun with fans!

So I am working my way toward the great 2022 TB change and notice the Fans are original with 309K miles. I searched on rock auto and they have not one aftermarket one available.

Anyone have a suggestion on good replacement dual radiator fan that is plug and play for 2002 SC430?

Thanks

If they're still working, why bother? I haven't read one entry (that I can remember) in the 16 years that I owned the SC430 of someone who needed to replace the fans. But if you're nervous about it, go for it. Sorry but I don't have any suggestions for you other than the two discount places: Megazip & Amayama

On megazip.net you are talking ~$600 for the two of them.

Yikes

I'm with Harold57 - fans are in the area of "don't fix it if it ain't broke".

If something must be replaced and you still haven't found a source, Lexus still sells the motors, fan blades, and plastic shroud - all as separate pieces and all expensive.

You are both 100% right and it was what I have decided. I guess I just thought fans would be like $50 to replace and there would be hundreds of aftermarket choices. I was totally wrong. LOL

This was a limited production car, so the availability of alternative choices for part supply is hit and miss.

You are definitely the energizer bunny with this rehab.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product, as I bet you are.

Good work
