There is no alteration with the Cusco bar.
and if you go to their website you can hotlink to their preferred retailer in the U.S.
FAST shipping and great customer service for things like torque specs. Furthermore you CAN reinstall the strut tower caps for a more finished look with the help of a little double sided tape because you will lose a few threads by installing the braces on the upper strut bolts.
Installed mine in like 6 minutes, (but had to drive to a buddy's house to borrow his torque wrench...and I think it was less than $200 USD

I recently pulled the trigger on the Cusco Bar, will report back once I have it installed. Strangely the Cusco Bar is cheaper than the Malaysian Ultra Racing ones. I believe Cusco should be made in Japan too. I do want the lower chassis bars from Ultra racing though. but those are about $1000 for both 3 point and 6 point braces.
