Yep. I know its plastic. But has anyone buffed out the light scratches? Thanks.

Following this thread , I have a few scratches on the stereo door I'd like to get rid of if possible

Buffing will do it depends on how deep the scratches are, you may need to do it multiple times.

It’s not plastic. It’s real wood veneer inlaid. I don’t know how you can buff the scratches out.

do you remember you posted in this older thread? isn't your question answered there?

Your absolutely right. I don't even remember that post. Probably because I was answering i.e. giving my opinion.🤣 to someone else.
And the plastic, wood discussion doesn't apply. I do not believe for a second that the clear coat could be cut down so bad as to actually hit the wood in the panels.
I don't own the tools to do what they did. BUT it is the correct way to do it. Treat it like paint. Which it is. I was hoping someone had thought outside the box with something...🤨

See! There you go. I have some McGuire's Plastic polish I use on the headlights to keep them clean. Might just have to try and do some before and after pics. Thats what Im talking about. 😁 Thinking out side the box.

30 min with Meguiars Plastx.

Before I started. Microfiber towl for application.

After working on it for about 30 min About five passes. A lot removed is just oxidation.
