Default Rear upper control arms

Well, I found my vibration. Left rear bent axle and the upper rear control arm (aluminum wishbone) bushings are bad. Flexes quite bad when u put it in gear while rear of car jacked up.
where can I find replacement bushings for that real quick. I don’t see the arm even listed on rock auto. Need an axle too. Thanks jay

Figs engineer sells the RUCA set for about $550 with poly bushing. OEM runs about $750 each.
not sure if you can press out/in the bushing from AL arm, but I believe they do sell poly bushing on their site as well.

Yea. There is no aftermarket replacement for that piece. I recently changed every single suspension components that had a bushing except the rear uppers. Sorry to hear about your issues.

I'm not sure my problem relates to this thread, so knowledgeable mechanics speak up:
Today my mechanic said I need a right front upper control arm ($550) parts ~50% of cost.
and front caster bars....$890 50% cost is parts.
In the past I replaced both left and right lower control arms (90K and 103K respectively) and lower ball joints (around 75K)
He said only Lexus parts can be used no aftermarket..is this true is there any aftermarket part I can substitute? What about a used part?
The car is an 03 w/115K and fender damage. I'd like to keep driving it but $1440 is a bit too much.
Any ideas?

A set of performance UCA is $300 (mevotech). Moog/ACdeco/etc, is about $200-$250/set.
A set of OEM Lexus caster arm (LCA#2) is about $300.

I'm about to replace mine. I got information here in the forums. I'm using mevotech for the front upper control arms, and ebay for front lower control arm #2 / caster arms. I'm also replacing the suspension with MeisterR Coilovers.

Here's the links:
Front Upper Control - MEVOTECH CMS861207 - $283.58(2x $141.79)
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=6691536&jsn=1

Front Caster Arms / Lower Control Arm No. 2 - $199.50
https://www.ebay.com/itm/292931505197

Suspension/Coilvers - $995
https://www.meisterr.com/products/me...0-uzz40-01-up/

Here's a worn bushing from the caster arm. There's a big crack on the rubber.

Thanx TX
is the price for 1 control arm correct? I got ~142$

Anyone: how much shop time should it take to replace one control alarm and the front caster bars? Note that's the right control arm and both caster bars. I assume there is some time saving on the right side rather than just doing 1 caster bar and 1 UCA on the right or are they independent processes?
Obviously I'm not a mechanic.

My mechanic insisted there was no aftermarket parts in the $550 quote for the RFUCA &$890 quote for the front caster bars including labor and Toyota/OEM PARTS. His shop rate is $115 an hour. So if 1/2 of his quote is parts that works out to 2.5 hours for the RFUCA and 3.75 hours on the Caster bars. Does that sound right?

Default Wheel bearing or upper control arm?

So I took my SC 430 to a second mechanic.
he seem to think the Right upper control arm was fine but he thought the right wheel bearings were bad. He didn’t takeoff the wheel he brought it up on the Jack and basically turned the wheel to and fro sideways. Two questions:
1 is there anyway to determine whether it’s the wheelbearings Or the upper control arm?
2. The second mechanic also confirmed the caster arms were bad. What is the worst case scenario with having bad Castor arm/lower control alarm number 2?
I was going to make a 500 mile trip each way but my mechanic the first one advised against it.

bad LCA#2 bushing will cause uneven front tires wear (inner tire)
