Default Clothes Hanging Rack

Has anyone come up with a way or a devise to hang clothes in the backseat of the SC other than hanging around the headrest support?

Just wondering how many garments do you want to hang?
It is difficult enough hanging my suit jacket behind me because the space is so tight.

I am not sure let me ask my son. This would be for his 2005 SC in VA. He lives in the Richmond, VA area but is running a assisted living community about a 110 miles away so he stays over 3 or 4 nights a week.

Thanks great thread. I should have done a search first.

Spoke with son and he is thinking no more than 5-10 lbs maybe 15 hangers. I was thinking some type of shower curtain compression bar that started out less than 40 inchs long and would expand out. Then a couple of soft leather peace's that would go in between the molding above the rear window and the bar ends so it would not mare the molding. Not sure if the compression on the bar would keep it from falling down while driving down the road. Just a thought.

He is better off laying the clothes flat in the trunk...using a garment bag or the bags from the dry cleaners.
good luck

There is no provision for storing things in the car during the trip, so often, jackets get crumpled and dirty, and jackets lie on the back seats. The problem can be solved with the help of special hangers with hangers in the car. These hangers have a simple design, which includes hangers and mounts. They can have both classic designs and quite unusual. The edges of metal hangers almost always have rubber (sometimes grooved) pads that prevent clothes from slipping while in motion. Sliding hangers have a more complex design that allows you to change the length of the hanger and fix it in position. I wonder why I didn't pay attention to them earlier when I took a couple hours of wedding suit delivery from the online store gentlemansguru.com!
