Stereo sound less "full" after voltage spike?
This thread piggy backs onto this one. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...l#post10834719
TL/DR: Alternator went bad, voltage spike, blew out my headlights.
After driving for a few days after the new alternator...it might be me...but the audio in the car sounds "less full". Like it's missing some punch. Due to the voltage spike, I'm wondering if some component in my audio may be suspect. Before, I usually played my music at a max of 30-32, as that was plenty loud for me. But now...maybe..it seems a bit less loud and full. I jogged the fader and L/R around and it seems as though all speakers are working front, back, L/R.
Is there anything I should check? I'm guessing if the amp went bad there would be more issues beyond being "less full"?? I'm no audio guy so I may be completely wrong.
Or maybe I'm completely off the rails and I'm just overly worried something else went bad during the voltage spike.
Thoughts?
