Default Throttle lag fixed by a tuner

These SC's can be dangerous. When entering traffic from a stand still, I want the car to go in a predictable manner. I expect a 300hp sports car not 36hp beetle. I know about the reset. I check at stop signs and red lights. Never can predict when it will go into dog mode. I have owned several LS430's and a LS460, they ran and run just fine. I expect the same from the SC.
While watching some car show today, I saw an ad for something called MPVI2 tuner. You can actually remap the ECU with it. Checked to see if it worked with Lexus, answer no. Works with some Toyota's. I watched some YouTube's on this. They actually rewrote parameters and stored them. I am no genius and I would not have a clue as to what parameters to change. I would not need this thing once the lag was fixed. It is nice to know throttle lag can be fixed.
This brings me to my question, has any one taken your SC to a human tuner and was successful in fixing the lag problem? Here is what I want to do, drive in down load the present parameters on my flash drive reprogram, run my credit card and gone. If you know of any tuners in central Ohio that can do this let me know. I would be eternally greatful.
Thanks

What year do you have? if it's 02-05, you can do the trans pressure mod and turn ECT Power on. Fixed it for me and it's free.

you can always do the ECU reset for the transmission.

Throttle lag is easily "fixed" with an Apexi Throttle Controller.

Have had them on several Lexus and really like them.

Also, what you are describing sounds like you need a ecu reset. I have never felt significant throttle lag.

It is a 2004. I do the on switch pedal down off pedal up, pretty much every time drive. It helps but you never know when it reverts. I want a permanent fix. Never had a slowing in cruise control, that sounds like a flaky pot or reostat.I am thinking a good tuner would be able to fix the lag. I just need some one to do it.
