Power Antenna
Hi I have just joined the forum. I am in the UK and have a 2003 with a faulty antenna. The relay module clicks when I power the head unit on and off but the motor does not run. I am trying to find a wiring diagram for the antenna unit but I have had no luck finding one. I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

Yes I have been trying for almost 12 months but not had any success. If I know what the connections are i may be able to sort it myself but there is a multi plug and i have no idea what the connections are for. Thank you for your reply.

Is your antenna in the up or down position. The most common problem is a bent mast.
In your case the mast maybe bent and not allowing the antenna to move.
I would try this REALLY easy mast removal process and see if that frees your motor. If so it is a $15 ebay purchase to solve the problem.

Start checking out the salvage yards. A new antenna can only be purchased with the antenna select relay assy and is VERY expensive from the dealer. Some here will suggest replacing the antenna with a stubby type also. The antenna motor not running could be a bad motor or just poor contact inside the motor with the brushes. I would recommend you expose the antenna and take a tool, place it on the motor assembly and tap it several times. If it is the brushes, it may allow them to make contact with the motor stator again and start functioning. Its a shot.
