Long story short...She has been to Hail and back...was in a Hail Storm March 2019.
$7k later, here she is...
BTW, the detail guy was able to make the headlights look like new...AMAZING!
We also had the windshield replaced and yes, it has the antenna...
Looking good! I had no idea it got hit by a hail storm last spring. $7,000 later i know you are not looking to sell it now. Hope you're doing well down there.

yep, all good and certainly don’t want to sell at this point. She has never looked better.
insurance paid for most of it.
$4k was dent rod removal.
the rest was repair and repaint of damage from the rods or prior living life.
My out of pocket was $1500...very happy.
yes CQ ceramic coating. It's stuff on the better end. You'll get about two years of functional life from it. You are hoing to love its self cleaning ability.

you sure know your products...he told me the same thing...
sure...his name is Nicholas “Nick” Morelle. He is about 40 and been in the business most of his life.
the only nick i know from Florida is with mckees. So definitely not him. I know one on your side of the state the useses carpro products almost exclusively.
A good professional detail from a quality guy is definitely worth it. To go to the very top end products. Like modesta, kamikaze, you spend about three times mire. For extra year or two of durability, and a little more cany type gloss. Not worth it unless you have a six figure kind of car. The car detailing can be addictive once you really see how good it can make your look. It changes your perspective on what detailing can really be. I keep going don the rabbit hole deeper and deeper. Now my undercarriage looks like how my engine bay detailing looked like. Twice a year i spend about eight hours under the car detailing. Last Friday i got complimented from the alignment tech. About what a joy it was. Nothing seized up. No greasy hands. It's relaxing to me anymore. Plus pretty much everything gets inspected, because you are touching everything to clean. Spray on rinse off sealants offer good protection on those hard to reach areas under the car.
most good detailers are more than happy to give out information on how to much of it on your own. I learned a lot from my couple of days at Rupes in Denver when mike was there holding classes along with Jason. I'm no professional by any means, but getting better thanks to professionals who have helped teach me.
If i can make one suggestion. I a and many others have tried the cmx as a-topper. Theres much better out there. The cmx streaks easy, and rather short real world durability except on glass. Its great on the glass. Cosmic spritz from polish angel. Is pricey, but goes a long way. Super easy to apply without streaking. Plus get a good three months out of a application. It also really adds extra gloss. But do what fits your needs and wants .

Looks great BGW. I didn't realize that it had been hit by hail. The headlights came out great also. (Headlight treatment is definitely something that I need to do but would like to find a film that I can use to protect them afterward.)
Did he put film on the headlights after the treatment or just a clear coat?

expel makes custom cut clear film for headlights. Pretty easy to apply too. $72 for their headlight kit. They don't make it for the 2006 and up though.

Once your paint is in great, swirl free condition (or new) applying ceramic coating yourself is very easy. Much easier than traditional waxing. I did cquartz 3.0 myself on LS 460. I got the 50ml kit and got two applications/coats from it for about $70 from Amazon. Folks who are paying pros hundreds of dollars are typically getting paint correction to make a perfect swirl free surface.

he put some type of sealer on the headlights...I was never able to get them looking this good. video of the hail storm, below...I was told it had about 50+ dents...I only saw three until they pointed them out to me.
